More transparency and improved communication shall increase ETUCE member organisations’ awareness of the structure, conduct and content of the European sectoral social dialogue in education (ESSDE). As announced a few weeks ago, ETUCE is working on an updated website presentation to facilitate the general understanding of the ESSDE and the social dialogue issues at stake.

During the last weeks, ETUCE has published statements and pictures of the four ESSDE steering group members. As of today, ETUCE is preparing interviews with the twenty eight national ESSDE delegates. The series of interviews titled “The European sectoral social dialogue in education (ESSDE).  We present your delegate from ..... !”  aims to show who the people are behind this continuous and important work in Brussels representing the interests of teachers’’ unions in the twenty eight EU countries. ETUCE hopes that the new website presentation will enhance the interest of all their EU based member organisations in “their” social dialogue at European level. More detailed information could also lead to more positive consequential effects such as broader participation of all members in the work and decision making processes leading to better outcomes.

The curtain opener comes today with an interview presenting Sandi Modrijan, Slovenian ESSDE delegate. Further interesting interviews shall follow in the near future.
