OiRA for Higher Ed & Research - Launch Event

ETUCE is pleased to announce the OiRA Online Launch Event: Making Higher Education and Research Institutions Safe and Healthy Workplaces, set for 7 November from 10:30 to 12:00 CET.
This event will introduce the new Online Interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tool for Higher Education and Research (HER), developed by ETUCE and EFEE, the European social partners in Education, in collaboration with the EU Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).
The OiRA tool aims to support safe and healthy working conditions in HER institutions by addressing both physical and psychosocial risks. Prevention is an essential component for ensuring decent and attractive working environments, it is also a mandatory requirement across all EU countries.
Following 18 months of social dialogue negotiations, OiRA stands as the first EU-wide initiative to provide a free, user-friendly prevention tool specifically tailored to the needs of HER staff.
The event will feature a presentation of the OiRA tool, including an interactive session on using the tool effectively, along with expert discussions on occupational health and safety risks in the HER sector. Participants will also gain insights from social partners in education on risk prevention.
