Europe Matters – A Question of Values

The Council of Europe has developed, in cooperation with education professionals, an educational game called “Europe Matters – A Question of Values”.

The game was designed for classes in primary or lower secondary education (8 to 12 year olds) and invites them to reflect on the key values that enable people to live together in society. The class should be guided through the game by a teacher.

This educational game focuses six European values, namely freedom of expression, a fair justice system, gender equality, abolition of the death penalty, free elections, diversity/non-discrimination. It is currently available in French, English, German, Greek, and Czech language. The Italian, Russian, Spanish, Macedonian Language versions are currently developed.
