New ETUI education course on “Workers’ Representation and Effective Supervision of Occupational Health and Safety”

The education department of ETUI (European Trade Union Institute) is launching a new course entitled “Workers’ Representation and Effective Supervision of Occupational Health and Safety”, which is to be held from 13 to 14 December 2016 in Krakow, Poland.

It is organised by the education department of ETUI, in cooperation with the All Poland Alliance of Trade Unions (OPZZ) and  the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK). The purpose of this course is to review the different European Occupational Health and Safety supervision and management models, in order to exchange on good practices as well as practical information.

The key goals that have been set up for this course are the following: a) To identify and characterize different models of workers’ representation in Occupational Health and Safety b) To analyse good practices c) To conceive recommendations on effective models of working conditions supervision carried out by workers’ representatives.

This course is open to all workers representatives in OSH, Trade Union representatives and officers in OSH, Trade Union representatives and officers coordinating systems of workers’ representation in Occupational Health and Safety (OSH). It will be conducted in three working languages :  English, Polish and Lithuanian.

Registrations are open until November 1st 2016.
